Equality

A non-negotiable in movement building. We believe that every voice matters, so we share the mic, redefine what’s normal and create equal access and space for ideas, opportunities, and leadership.

Empathy

Empathy moves us to action. We practice sharing stories in our day to day work of leadership, lived experiences, mundane life moments, and stories of wins and hope.

Justice

Justice is about fixing the root causes, not symptoms. We equip ourselves and our communities to hold power accountable, not just ask for favors, help or charity.

Inclusivity

Because collective empowerment means taking everyone along. Our events, meetings, and campaigns are designed keeping marginalization, power, and inclusion in mind.

Commitment

Commitment for us means to show up and keep going, even when things get tough. Next steps and commitment check-ins happen across the board in all our project and department teams.

Integrity towards our mission and people. We do what’s right, even when no one’s watching.

Compassionate Care, because we can only move so far without caring for our communities and people who are part of the movement. We engage in full team, sub-teams, and one to one's weekly check‑ins to avoid burn-out. We routinely shut work down to pause and rest.

Continuous Learning - We believe the world’s always changing fast, so we need to change with it, by leading with curiosity. Our debrief rituals mean taking a stock of things - learning from our mistakes and continuing to do what’s working.

Transparent Accountability means showing up with humility and owning up to mistakes. We write accountability updates to our community, collaborators, supporters and allies on regular intervals and share honest stories of our pains and victories through different platforms.

Distributed Leadership - we design our organizational structure and programs to function as interdependent, distributed teams who can enable more leadership and take action together – where roles can be rotated and expertise can be shared, beyond job titles.
