Yashnashree is Manager – Communications & Social Media at Haiyya. With 7+ years of experience in the print and digital media industry, she believes in the power of words and stories in creating a movement. She has been leading the Mumbai chapter of Haiyya’s Health Over Stigma campaign and closely works on other campaigns to develop strategies and narratives that start a conversation and bring about change. Her writing has been previously published in Forbes India, The Wire, The Telegraph, Project FUEL, Notion Press, Asian Photography, Ambrosia, etc. She has a PGD in Journalism and Mass Communications from Xavier Institute of Communications, Mumbai, and is a gold medalist in Bachelor of Communicative English with Media Studies, from Patna Women’s College. At Haiyya, she aims to dissolve the ideology of creating a niche and wants to connect, expand, and enable people-powered movements through stories.
