Parmita is the Senior Campaign Associate at Haiyya. She is leading the campaign Health Over Stigma and is responsible for building a solidarity network of diverse adult unmarried women who fight to end the stigma surrounding unmarried women’s sexuality and sexual health. Parmita has previously worked on issues surrounding gender, sexuality, sex work, child rights and education with an undergraduate degree in history (Hons) from LSR and Post Graduation in Gender Studies from Ambedkar University.
