Neha is the Senior Programme Lead at Haiyya and is a passionate organiser and campaigner and has experience of over 14 years of designing campaigns and projects which address social inequalities. She started as a campaigner with Greenpeace where she worked on the issue of agrarian distress and has been involved in movements like the Coalition for GM Free India, ASHA Kishan Swaraj, the Right to Food Campaign and National Campaign for People’s Right to Information (NCPRI). Neha worked very closely with Adivasi communities in Odisha and Jharkhand as part of Azim Premji Foundation and IPE Global, where she designed and led social accountability programmes on nutrition. In 2020, she completed her Leadership, Organising and Action course with the Harvard Kennedy School and since then has been focused on supporting collectives powered by people from communities that have been marginalized. Neha also works with Asar Social Impact as Director of a mothers collective that works on climate justice and air pollution. She spends her free time mentoring a young Bahujan girls collective in Rajasthan, that works on their right to education.
