Akshay is the Head of Campaigning Networks and Mobilization at Haiyya. He is responsible for driving Haiyya’s grassroots programs and demonstrating their impact in communities and leadership into the world. He has worked on climate change issues, including air pollution, Forest Rights Act, and worked closely with tribal communities and forest dwellers in Singrauli. He is interested in issues affecting women, children and LGBTQIA+ persons.
