An integral part of Haiyya, Mrinalini was the Head of Grassroots & Strategy at organization until 2019, bringing her experience working on various campaigns addressing sexual & reproductive health, data protection & privacy, air pollution and gender sensitization. She is passionate about creating and driving innovative on-ground projects that build sustainable leadership and collective power. She is currently pursuing her Masters in Gender & Development at University of Sussex.
Mrinalini started the Health Over Stigma Campaign in 2017, that fights stigma unmarried women face while accessing Sexual Health Services in India, for which she was recognized as one of the 20 finalists for the Commonwealth Youth Awards 2018. She currently leads Community Development with Mozilla’s India communities and with Mozilla’s Global Policy Team. She has previously led the innovative TEDxDelhi Fellowship Program focusing on Urban City Pollution and spearheaded ‘The New Narrative’ series – a safe space through which young leaders can engage with social issues. She has also designed and facilitated trainings with diverse audiences on the Community Organizing Framework.
Mrinalini has been trained at the Harvard Kennedy School’s Executive Education program on Leadership, Organizing and Action by professor Marshall Ganz and has an Honours Degree from the University of Toronto in International Relations and History.
